Kids say the darndest things.

The kids were talking about friends that have moved away:
Shelby: Mom I miss Kambri.
Mom: I know sis.
Derrick: Mom I miss Maleah.
Mom: I know buddy.
Derrick: No mom I miss her, she was my first girlfriend.

Its funny how kids can say such adult things.
I just want them to say young and innocent forever!

Poor little guy

My little guy had three teeth pulled today. He is only 5, but he survived and got an airplane out of the deal. I guess bribing isn't the best way, but sometimes we have to do what we have to do. He didn't have enough room for all his big guy teeth. I don't know how he will be able to eat, but spaghetti O's are on sale this week. (Stock up now)

WOW!

I guess this is what happens when you leave them unattended. I found a long lost friend tonight, and chatting lead to 30 minutes and easter dress and superman unloaded all the toys in the kitchen. The toys moved to the kitchen while construction could take place.

More progress!

Well it's coming along. Windows will be here on the 29th. I have my paint swatches, but have no idea what to do. Cody just shakes his head. Once the walls are done, the ball is in my court.

Shelby's room

Today is Friday at 6:29p.m. the first picture is Shelby's bed. Cody had the idea to build the bed into the wall, and the closet underneath. The closet is bigger than any other closet in the house. The other picture is the south wall and it has two big storage spaces up above the wall. On the other side horizontally we put in a recessed light. At the end of the day they are ready to sheet rock. Rock On!

Shelby's Room

Day 1 before the construction started. My uncle so gratefully came from magna to help Cody. They started on Wednesday, so wel'l see how it progresse's each day. Yippee, finally a girls room to decorate.

Girls Day Out!

So my sister in-law was able to get tickets for GOOD THINGS UTAH audience. It was so awesome to see it live. The picture of us sitting on the bench was my mother in-law, she is the strongest woman I know. Then my sister in-law Shani. Then my sister in-law Racquel. Then Shani's mother in-law Claudia. What a great day to spend with family. I scored big time in the in-law section. I am so grateful to be in a family that is so loving and accepting. They loved me from the beginning. Sometimes things have to happen in life for bigger and better things to come. Cody and I always think back and say if Cody wasn't in that accident and repeat his junior year we wouldn't have met. If I didn't have my rebel days, I wouldn't have gone to Carbon High and met Cody. Losing a loved is so hard, I lost a very special person my Grandma, and then Cody's Grandma within in two months. It was hard to accept, and I chose to be baptized after losing Cody's Grandma and her sister. After that we lived totally different lives. Things happen for a reason I believe. Our motto for the White family is "Believe", believe in yourself, in Santa, in fairy tales, in the scriptures, in an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Whatever you believe in just BELIEVE! Believing gives you faith and faith is believing.

Sorry had a mouthful to get out. Anyway I love my family and I love my and I love the Gospel and what it gives to me. I am a stronger and better person, for having it in my life. I am thankful for the Davis family for taking us under their wing. I am so grateful the love my kids have for Gramdma Davis AKA (the cookie lady) or (Grandma cookie). She is hurt and my kids still pray for her every night for her to get better and come home, also for aunt Racquel to heel better and get stronger although the crutches are a big hit.

Wow!

Amen

GUYS WEEKEND! (can you imagine)

Can you imagine? I just laugh every time I think of them :in the car, checking into the motel, getting ready in the morning, the sleeping arrangements, as Cody puts it taking care of important paper work. Four guys went to Vegas and came back with nicknames.
