A day out with Thomas the Tank

1st Train ride

Derrick was sick this weekend and still is. He has had a fever and we are just buying time with the Tylenol. Anyway he is so loveable and cuddly when he is sick (wish he was sick more often j/k). Anyway as we were leaving he got all teary eyed and real tears appeared, this is what he said: I am going to miss Thomas so much because he is family and family is in my heart. I just about melted in my tracks who knew a little boy would love something so much?

We spent the day in Heber to visit Thomas the Tank. What a day, the kids had a great time. It was magical to see there faces light up on the train. So many questions, so little time. All in all a great day!

We had such a great time exploring. The kids got to experience a little rock climbing, thanks to the Andreasens. Great Hobo dinners were enjoyed. Ahhhh don't forget smores were devoured by all. We spent the evening with our friends the Marshalls, and the Andreasens, and can't wait to go again, maybe we will catch the "Hoover" next time?

This is Shelby's end of the year program. I thought I would do lots worse than I did. I held my tears back, I felt nothing but proud of my little girl.
